Sending money up to LKR 200 is free, after that fees start at LKR 2 and range to LRK 15. Paying Dialog bills is free but utility bill payments are priced at LKR 20. Cash withdrawals start at LKR 5 for taking out LKR 1 to 200 and goes up to LKR 100 for withdrawing LKR 3,001 – 5,000. Paying for goods with eZ Cash Points is free, as are mini statements, and balance checks

The mobile payment service can be used to pay utility bills or to buy goods and services online or even make over the counter payments at thousands of shops across the island. People without credit cards can make electronic transaction even without a bank.

Unclear how eZ Pay and eZ Card Pal are affected by this. As of September 2012, these services are still on the site but it is eZ Cash that is promoted. Meanwhile, the web pages relating to eZ Pay are no longer reachable on the NDB Bank site.

Each transaction is protected through a personal identification number (PIN) and in the case of online payments the user will get a prompt on the phone to confirm.Without a PIN a lost phone could not be used for transactions.

All registered Dialog customers could open a 10,000 rupee wallet through the phone with no additional documentation and no registration fee. An account with a 25,000 rupee balance would need additional verification. If you are a Dialog Mobile subscriber simply dial #111# or visit any Dialog Customer Service Point to get registered.
