Only Prepaid & Post-paid subscribers of Vodacom Tanzania may register for M-PESA. Registered M-PESA Customers may use all M-PESA customer services like Deposit Cash, Send Money, Withdraw Cash, Buy Prepaid Airtime, etc. Unregistered Customers are mobile subscribers in Tanzania who have not registered for Vodacom M-PESA services. Unregistered Customers may belong to Vodacom or any other national mobile network. Unregistered Customers can only receive m-pesa money transfers from Registered M-PESA Customers and withdraw the same at any authorised M-PESA agent in Tanzania within 7 days. Unregistered Customers cannot deposit or send transfers as they are not activated on the Vodacom M-PESA system. |
